One of the important areas of industrial activity of the PC « Ulyanovski NIAT » is the design and manufacturing of industrial equipment.

The possibility of manufacturing various range of profiles directly dependents on the use of equipment. With one forming machine and several sets of equipment, you can produce several types of profiles.

Types of industrial equipment:

• roller accessories;
• punch accessories: cutting, forming, perforating;
• cutting accessories.

Integral and composite roller accessories are used at our company. Integral roller accessories are used when the amounts of profiles are small (less then 50 mm), which contributes to its ease of storage and installed on shafts of forming machine. Composite roll accessories are used when the sections of profiles are large, while there are different versions of its connecting.

One of the developments of the institute is the use of roller accessories which is produced by the technology of intensive deformation. This can greatly reduce the number of used transitions without loss of profile’s quality.

The roller accessories, produced by the technology of intensive deformation, have its own characteristics. In particular caliber of roller pairs have a closed circuit and landing shoulder, that allows to set on the forming machine without the control of the working caliber.

PC « Ulyanovski NIAT » annually produces more 70 sets of industrial equipment, mainly for the production of new profiles, previously not produced.Used now experience in the development of unique manufacturing technology profiles in conjunction with new computer programs provides high-quality and fast production of various cross-sectional profiles.
