Cutting complex

Cutting the roll into ribbons or sheets is an integral part of the technological route of roll forming.

Cutting systems manufactured at the company PC «Ulyanovski NIAT» allow the cutting of the material thickness from 0,4 mm up to 4,0 mm., and handle a variety of materials: ferrous metals, stainless steel, aluminium including material with a preprinted protective and decorative coatings and protective PE film.

Cutting complex can exercise:

line of the longitudinal cutting;
line of the cross cutting;
line of the longitudinal-transverse cutting.

The starting material for these complexes is a rolled metal (8-20 t.) which comes from steelworks.

Longitudinal section provides cutting rolled metal in to a strip of a certain width, used further on the roll forming line or on the sheet-stamping complex. This cut allows to produce strips of any size, from 15 up to 600 mm, number of cuts in one pass may take up to 40 or more.

Cross-cutting can produce bands and ribbons of various widths and lengths, from 100 mm up to 24000 mm, with the same characteristics as the source metal have.
